CAMP DETAILS

Location: Congregation Sherith Israel 2266 California St, San Francisco, CA 94115

Camp runs Monday - Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm

Camp runs for 5 days and includes lunch, morning snack, and evening Snack

Drop off is 9:00am - 9:15am and pick up is 2:45pm - 3:00pm

In our camp, your young chef will be taught different baking and decorating techniques and explore the world via their taste buds. They will discover the origins of the dishes they prepare and look at math in a new and fun way, acquiring a knowledge of the science that ties into the culinary arts and ultimately gaining confidence in the kitchen and so much more! During our out-of-the-kitchen portion they will be able to choose between a variety of activities, including, but not limited to, art projects, science experiments, puzzles, reading, and board games. We also finish every week with our 4ft and Up Kitchen review game, allowing us to go over what we taught in a fun and interactive way!

Restaurant Week

Ages: 4-12

Session 1 JUNE 16th-JUNE 20th


This camp is all about the world of hospitality. Your young chef will prepare delicious meals and get to do and learn about different jobs in our creative summer camp restaurant everyday. They will create menus, learn math skills, what a brigade is and so much more! Don’t be surprised if they start telling you to 86 their favorite snack next time it runs out after they attend this camp.

San Francisco Bake Off Challenge

Ages: 4-12

Session 2 JUNE 23rd - JUNE 27th


Calling all bakers and artists! We are back for our 4th annual baking competition and we are so excited to see what our chefs cook up and decorate this time around! In this camp your young chef will compete with their fellow chefs by completing a different baking challenge everyday. They will work together as a team and present their wonderful creations to the judges to see who takes home the prize.

Traveling Via Taste Buds

Ages: 4-12

Session 3 JULY 7th - JULY 11th


Get ready for a delicious adventure! In this camp your young chef will have the chance to experience and create different meals from around the world. We will be taking a trip that doesn’t require a plane ticket or passport, but rather their sense of taste and smell! Our itinerary for this summer includes the Philippines, Sweden, Jamaica, Poland, and Puerto Rico.

Flavor Detectives

Ages: 4-12

Session 9 AUGUST 18th - AUGUST 22nd


In this camp your young chef will tap into their senses and connect with food on a whole new level. They will team up and be put to the challenge by their fellow chefs to see how many herbs, spices, and foods each team can name only using their senses of smell and taste. On the last day of camp both teams will create a dish with a secret ingredient for the opposing team to taste and try to identify what they’ve added. It’s a fun guessing-game that will help your young chef identify different flavors in every dish they eat.
